What began as a childhood passion for sewing evolved into Drapery Design, a company Karen built from a home-based workroom into a full-service operation with a retail showroom, achieving sustained million-dollar annual sales. Her work has been published numerous times in magazines including Traditional Home, Drapery & Design Professional, Window Fashion Vision, Decorator’s Showhouses, Vassar Show House, and Kitchen & Bath Design. Today, she is recognized for guiding clients and design professionals through the intricate process of custom window coverings with clarity and confidence.
Karen’s industry leadership extends nationally. She is a former President of her local chapter of the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) and served on the national Board of Directors, including her role on the Executive Committee as Treasurer. Her work has earned numerous awards and has been featured in leading publications.
