Couture Detailing

A Couture treatment is a luxurious, sophisticated custom drapery that adds even more custom detailing. Fabrics may be upgraded to designer brands, but even simplified fabrics can be dressed up for a couture look. Flannel interlining is offered in different weights. Interlining is an additional layer of flannel lining inserted between the face fabric and the sateen lining, giving a more luxurious appearance to the face fabric. Interlining protects the face fabric from sun damage and controls drafts and seepage of hot or cold air into the room.

Multiple embellishments are added to a couture drapery. Tassels, fringes, braids, bands, ruffles, buttons and even nail heads and monograms are used in varying combinations. A popular detail today is micro cording which finishes an edge of a treatment very cleanly. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Pricing is very variable depending on the options chosen.
